McArthur Early Childhood Leadership Development Scholarship
The scholarship is sponsored by McArthur and supported by Early Childhood Australia (ECA) to inform and promote professional learning and the quality of early childhood leadership. The scholarship will support one recipient to:
study exemplary early childhood services or programs overseas or within Australia

HESTA Early Childhood Education & Care Awards
The HESTA Early Childhood Education & Care Awards are presented by HESTA—your health and community services industry super fund—and supported by Early Childhood Australia.

There are three categories, designed to cover the wide range of professions and skills exhibited by Australia’s early childhood education and care professionals. Early childhood educators or professionals who used their initiative and leadership can be nominated for:
AJEC Research Symposium 2016—‘Whose knowledge is it anyway? Pushing the evidence base in early childhood research’
The AJEC Research Symposium is scheduled the day before the conference—on 5 October 2016—and all interested participants are encouraged to attend the symposium for opportunities to share innovative research methodologies, findings and research with cutting edge partnerships and collaborations. Dr Richard Fletcher is an Associate Professor in the Family Action Centre, Faculty of Health and Medicine, The University of Newcastle. He will present his Keynote Address on Engaging fathers in the early childhood space; Why and how?
