To register for the conference
Please read the following information carefully before registering and note that full payment of conference registration fees must accompany your registration. Registrations cannot be processed without payment.
Online registration
Register safely and securely online using credit card payment (Visa or Mastercard).
Register by Mail
Complete both sides of the delegate registration form available here, and attach payment.
Payment can be made by:
- credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
- a cheque drawn on an Australian bank account and made payable to Early Childhood Australia
- an international bank cheque payable in Australian Dollars (AUD) made payable to Early Childhood Australia
- an Australian money order made payable to Early Childhood Australia or direct deposit to BSB 062-904, account number 00903447, account name Early Childhood Australia. If you are using this method outside of Australia, please add $20 for international transfer fees (all clearance costs are the responsibility of the delegate).

ECA member discounts
Early Childhood Australia members receive a conference discount!
To qualify for ECA member discounts:
You must be a current financial member of ECA and your member number must be shown on your registration form OR
You must complete the Become an ECA Member section of your registration form.
NB. ECA Service members may register one delegate at the member rate. ECA Organisation members may register two delegates at the member rate.

Concession registration
A limited number of concession delegate places are available - so book your place now! Open to full-time students currently enrolled in an approved early childhood course, pensioners and health care cardholders. Copy of concession card required with registration.

Single-day registration
Single-day registration fees are for one day only. For more than one day, delegates must pay full conference rate. ECA member discounts do not apply to single-day delegates.
Single-day delegates receive:

- Morning and afternoon tea and lunch
- The option to purchase tickets to the Conference Dinner and 'Breakfast with the Stars'
Registration terms and conditions
When registering to attend the conference, you accept the following registration terms:
Cancellations and refunds
All cancellations must be notified to the secretariat in writing (surface mail, fax or email). If the notification is not received by the secretariat, the cancellation is deemed to have been not notified. Cancellations will be acknowledged in writing. Where notice of cancellation is received by the secretariat on or before 31 August 2008, any registration fees paid will be refunded less an administrative charge of 15% of the total refund. No refunds are available for any cancellations on or after 1 September 2008, however you may nominate a replacement delegate at no charge up to 19 September 2008. After 19 September 2008, an additional fee of $50 will apply to transfer a registration to another delegate. The same conditions apply to tickets purchased for social events. Refunds of accommodation deposits are at the discretion of the accommodation venue. No refunds whatsoever are available in the event a delegate registers but fails to attend the conference.
Payment of fees
All registration fees are payable in advance of the conference and entry to the conference may be denied in the event registration fees (or a portion thereof)
are unpaid prior to commencement of the conference. Should approval be granted by the conference to allow payment of registration fees on site at the
conference, these fees are payable in full regardless of whether you attend the conference.
Loss and injury
All conference participants are advised to effect their own insurance to cover all risks including (but not limited to) costs of travel, accommodation, conference fees, personal property, health and medical expenses, injury, death and all other risks. The conference, host organisation and organisers will not be held liable for any claims under any circumstances.
General
All details contained in the brochure and on the conference website are subject to change without notice.
Visa and quarantine
Delegates travelling from overseas may be required to obtain a visa before travelling to Australia. You should apply for your visa not less than two months prior to your departure. Failure to obtain a visa will not be accepted as grounds for refund of any fees or other costs paid to the conference. Australia has strict quarantine regulations that are enforced at all international airports and other points of entry into Australia.
