Early Career Registration

New to the 2026 ECA National Conference—Early Career Registrations!

As part of its commitment to invest in and strengthen the sector, Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is pleased to introduce a limited number of Early Career Registrations for the 2026 ECA National Conference. Designed for settings and services to invest in developing their emerging workforce, and available to educators in their first three years of working in early childhood education and care (ECEC) or outside school hours care (OSHC), this reduced-rate registration provides an accessible pathway for early career professionals to engage with ECA’s National Conference.

ECA sees this as an important contribution to growing the profession and building capability.  

Services may access up to two Early Career Registrations, creating an opportunity to build capability, strengthen practice and support the next generation of educators within their teams.

Eligibility criteria:

• Less than three years’ experience working in ECEC or OSHC settings.
• Currently employed in an educator or teacher role (e.g. assistant educator, educator, OSHC educator, early childhood teacher or equivalent), not in a senior leadership or management position.

Delegates wishing to register for an Early Career Registration will be required to complete an expression of interest form by clicking the link below. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the ECA Conference Team will send you details to finalise your registration and payment.

There are a limited number of Early Career Registrations (places) available. Expressions of interest will be reviewed as they are received.

Terms and Conditions

• There is a limited number of Early Career Registrations (places) available on a first-come basis. ECA reserves the right to close this registration type at any time.
• Early Career delegates must be identified at time of booking.
• Early Career Registrations cannot be facilitated within the same transaction as other registrations. A standalone invoice will be issued for each completed registration.
• Early Career Registrations are available for new registrations only. ECA cannot change existing registrations to the Early Career Registration rate.
• Member rates will come from total available member allocations for your service or setting, i.e. three for service level members and five for organisation level members. If a member’s allocation has already been used on previous registrations, they will be charged the non-member rate.
• ECA reserves the right to contact the applicant’s supervisor using the details provided to confirm eligibility.
